Terms of Use

These terms explain the rules for using Litmus, purchasing credits, and relying on generated startup-research reports.

Effective 20 June 2026

Accepting these terms

By accessing or using Litmus, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement.

Your account

Google sign-in is used to create and secure your Litmus account. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your Google account secure. Provide accurate information and contact the developer promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

Reports and generated information

Litmus provides automated market-research and startup-analysis reports. Reports may use artificial intelligence, public information, third-party data, estimates, and incomplete signals. Outputs can be inaccurate, outdated, incomplete, or unsuitable for your circumstances.

Reports are informational only and are not legal, financial, investment, accounting, or other professional advice. You remain responsible for verifying important information and making your own product, business, and investment decisions.

Your ideas and content

You retain ownership of the ideas and content you submit. You give Litmus permission to process that content only as reasonably needed to authenticate you, generate and store reports, operate and secure the service, diagnose failures, and provide support as described in the Privacy Policy.

You must have the right to submit your content. Do not submit confidential information belonging to someone else, unlawful material, malicious code, or content that infringes another person's rights.

Credits and payments

Litmus sells one-time credit packs through Stripe. Credits can be used only inside Litmus, are non-transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash, and have no cash value outside the service. Deep Analysis pricing and applicable automatic credit-restoration rules are displayed before purchase or unlock.

Payment and refund treatment is governed by the Refund Policy. Stripe processes payment-card information under its own terms and privacy practices.

Acceptable use

You must not:

  • Use Litmus for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or deceptive activity.
  • Attempt to bypass authentication, credit checks, usage limits, or report access controls.
  • Interfere with the service, probe it for vulnerabilities, or introduce malware.
  • Use automated methods to overload, scrape, or copy the service without permission.
  • Misrepresent generated reports as verified facts or professional advice.

Availability and changes

Litmus may change, suspend, or discontinue features as the product develops. The service is provided on an as-available basis, and uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed. Access may be limited or terminated when reasonably necessary to protect users, providers, or the service, or when these terms are materially breached.

Intellectual property

Litmus software, branding, interface design, and original service content belong to the developer or applicable licensors. These terms do not grant permission to copy, resell, reverse engineer, or create a competing service from protected Litmus materials except where applicable law permits it.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Litmus and its developer are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or business losses arising from use of the service or reliance on a report. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Contact and changes to these terms

Questions about these terms can be sent to adnanniloy@gmail.com. These terms may be updated as Litmus, its providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date will be updated when material changes are published.
